Company profile and challenge
The successful Hungarian manager of a national retail chain was promoted to regional director, which meant that after eight months he had to perform his CEO duties from another country. Although he had B1+ English language skills, the new position required a high level of B2+ professional and managerial language use, especially in the fields of negotiations, strategic planning, and business communication.
The biggest challenge was to develop his language skills and leadership language skills quickly and effectively alongside his busy schedule.
It was a challenge to arrange a flexible schedule that fit in with the managers' schedules and to find a versatile, experienced trainer and coach for the task who also had experience in leadership development.
The solution
We put together a personalized, intensive business language coaching program that included not only language lessons but also leadership training elements.
