  • Choosing the most suitable course material for the type of course ordered, in agreement with the group and with a focus on the participants’ field of work and learning objectives.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t

  • Sharing language learning ideas (podcast, website, e-learning, video, films, apps, social events).<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    • Teaching language of the workplace, business focus.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Close to 100% target language communication, Hungarian words only when necessary.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Speaking-focus. As many participant responses, speaking practice, pair work and situations as possible (teacher’s speaking time as little as possible, max. 20% of the lesson).<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Practical use of phrases, idioms and expressions.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Minimal grammar, with a supporting role only.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Correction of grammatical mistakes and pronunciation just in case they hinder understanding.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Including and alternating 5-6 task types in 90 minutes. Including games.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
    • Use of visual aids (pictures, internet, videos, etc.), colourful, illustrative tasks.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      Characteristics of the lesson<\/h2>\r\nWarm-up exercises, Revision, New material, Communicative exercises, Summary<\/strong>\r\n
        \r\n \t
      • Motivation: a warm-up exercise, which is playful and also connected to the topic of the lesson.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
      • Previous knowledge: A short revision from the previous lesson with communicative exercises.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
      • Acquisition of new knowledge based on the syllabus: goal setting, raising problems in English, learning and practicing expressions in pairs\/groups, facilitating independent use of language.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
      • Checking and feedback: after processing new knowledge, partial checking of coherent thought processes, e.g. through role-play, situations and arguing exercises.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
      • Lots of pair work (e.g. debate and discussion, asking for and providing information, reaching consensus)<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
      • Summary: Cool-down playful exercise linked to the topic of the lesson.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

          • Written end-of-module exam: grammar test, writing, reading and listening comprehension tests based on the course material that you have covered.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
          • Verbal end-of-module exam: informal discussion, independent speaking about a given business topic, role-play exercises.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
          • Final exam to check progress or achievement of a communication objective.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
          • Completion and submission of attendance sheet, progress diary and satisfaction survey.<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t
